Visiting Our Campus

Visits from family and friends are essential for our patient's comfort and healing process.  Our general visiting hours are 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  We do accommodate parents, guardians or caregiver visitation outside of general visitation hours.

Visiting hours may vary by program. Please contact your child's specific program to verify visiting hours. For more information, please call 617-254-3800 and ask to be speak with the program treating your child or loved one.

Visiting Guidelines

To help us to maintain an environment of rest and recovery for all our patients, please honor the following guidelines:

  • All visitors are asked to sign a visitation log, located at the entrance of the hospital and at the entrance of each unit
  • Children under the age of 18 who are visiting must be supervised by an adult at all times
  • All visitors must wash their hands before entering and upon exiting a patient's room
  • Our patients are engaged in healing activities throughout the day. To avoid over-tiring the patient, we ask visitors (other than parents and guardians) to please limit the length of their visit as well as the number of people visiting at one time
  • To prevent disturbing other patients and their families, we ask that all visitors be as quiet as possible
  • Anyone suffering from a fever, cold, respiratory infection or illness should not visit. We encourage them to send a note or card to the patient or talk with them by telephone

Cafeteria

Our cafeteria is located on the first floor and is open Monday through Friday during the following times:

  • Breakfast - 6:45 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
  • Lunch - 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The cafeteria offers many options including pizza, wraps, deli, home-style entrees, grill items and a salad bar.  All major credit cards are accepted.  Please note, the cafeteria is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and major holidays.
